For now, the snow seems to have gone away, spring is in full bloom and summer is just around the corner. April 21st marks the Opening Day of Worlds Of Fun amusement park. The 2018 season kicks off with a big celebration! Enjoy the return of your favorite rides, live shows, dance parties, characters from the Peanuts comics, and more. The 2018 season is the first for the new ride, the Nordic Chaser. On Nordic Chaser, guests of all ages will ride mini ships that rotate speedily around a circuit. The ride captures the imagination as you experience the sensation of rising and falling along ocean waves. You can find this new ride in the park’s Scandinavia themed area. The classic rollercoaster, Timber Wolf, will reopen later this season. Opening Day is the perfect day to activate your child’s 2018 Pre-K Pass, which offers free admission for children ages 3-5 for the entire 2018 season. Simply register online and activate at the park. If you purchase a gold season pass, you can get unlimited access to the park all season along with access to Oceans Of Fun. Oceans Of Fun is the water park that will open in late May for splashing around all summer. There is even a passholder sneak peak on the evening of April 20th. Groups can visit the park together at discounted rates.
