Once again, we’re ready to tackle community events in Olathe, KS! Summer will be here before you know it, which means your little ones will be out of school and looking for something to do. In today’s blog, we’re looking at events taking place in late May and early June and talking about treatments to improve smile appearance prior to your next visit.
Community Events
- Day Out With Frank and Ella: On May 30th you and your family can learn all about life in the 1860s with Day Out With Frank and Ella at the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm on 1200 East Kansas City Road. Kids get in for $5 each and the admission includes a stagecoach ride. Kids must be accompanied by an adult, and additional adults are $5. Children ages 4 and under get in free. Activities are appropriate for children of all ages.
- Family Fun Nights: On June 6th from 6pm until 8pm you and our family enjoy a fun night of trail related activities at the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm on 1200 East Kansas City Road. Admission is free and stagecoach rides are only $3 per person. At this event, you will learn about cooking, trading, and panning for gold on the trails. There are also additional activities, such as bullet molding and making S hooks in a blacksmith.
- Sunflower Wickets: Support the Mahaffie Foundation with a day of croquet on June 7th from 1:30pm until 4pm at the Olathe Community Center on 1205 East Kansas City Road. Check in starts at 1pm and all proceeds support educational programs for the community.
- Ramadan Community Dinner: Enjoy a Ramadan Community Dinner on May 20th from 7:30pm until 10pm at City Hall on 100 East Santa Fe Street. People of all faiths are welcome and the meal is free!
