Community Events
- Bonvera: The Bonvera Training Event helps encourage people by offering advice on starting their own business or finding success in the workplace. The event will take place at Kansas City Marriot Downtown (200 West 12th Street) from Friday, January 18th through Sunday, January 20th. Discount tickets for $135 are available at the Pro Shop.
- 2019 Women’s Sports Awards Celebration: The Kansas City Convention Center Grand Ballroom, located at 1502 Wyandotte Street, will host the 2019 Women Sports Award Celebration. The event takes place on Friday, February 8th from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm. The event celebrates the National Girls and Women in Sports Day, and features a keynote address from tennis great Venus Williams. Holly Rowe, ESPN commentator, will be the Emcee. Tickets are $125.
- 2019 KC Brew Fest: The 2019 KC Brewfest will take place on Saturday, February 9th from 1 pm until 9 pm. The festival is located at Union Station in Kansas City and all attendees must be 21 and older. The festival will feature over 40 different brewers and 100 different beers. There will also be music and food. Admission is $40 for general admission and $50 for early admission, which gets you an additional hour to try limited and rare beer selections.
- Kansas City Improv: The Improv Comedy Club will be hosting The Fresh Drunk Stoned Comedy Show on Monday, February 18th from 7:30 pm until 9:30 pm. Free tickets are available and the show will take place at 7260 Northwest 87th Street.
