June is officially here! That means that school is probably out for your family and everyone is ready to get outside to enjoy the sunshine. E-Care Dentistry is proud to serve the smiles of Olathe and the neighboring communities. We have created this list to highlight the things going on in and and around Olathe that may be something for you and your family to enjoy!
Things to Do This Weekend
- The Olathe Public Library has kicked off the Summer Reading Program! Kids, teens, and adults can enter the program to read books, win prizes, and have fun! Each age group has separate contests and ways to enter to win prizes. The theme of this year’s program is Libraries Rock, which gives reading a rock and roll edge. Check out the library website for more information on each specific program.
- The Olathe Library is hosting a Paper Bag Puppet workshop for children of pre-school age on Friday, June 8th at 11am. The library will provide any and all of the supplies you would need to have fun making a puppet. Preschoolers should bring their imagination and an accompanying adult.
- On June 8th, the Overland Park Arboretum is hosting Hot Summer Days, which features water games for the whole family. There will be plenty of splashing around to help keep the temperatures down, and participants will enjoy this cool down activity. There will also be activities making ice art and plenty of cool treats available for snacking. No pre-registration is necessary for this cool event.
