Olathe Activities
- The Prince of Peace Women’s Association is hosting Taste & See: A Ladies Retreat on February 17th from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Kind Craft is hosting Believe Big, a national program to support cancer treatment patients on March 29th. Kind Craft is partnering with Ceramic Cafe for this event held across the country. Studios with paint your own pottery programs around the country are doing this fundraiser to benefit their local area’s Believe Big. Believe Big’s motto is “Face It, Fight It, Overcome It.” Each mug painted with the word “believe” on it will be given to a patient at a local cancer treatment center. To paint a mug, it is $18 each. The entire event is welcome to the whole family, and it will begin with an explanation of why the event is happening. The welcome will begin at 6:00 p.m. with no entries allowed after 7:00 p.m.; the event will end at 8 o’clock.
- On Friday, January 19th at noon, Natural Grocers is hosting Hack Your Coffee. The workshop will focus on teaching you how to unlock the health potential of your morning joe. You will learn how to sweeten up your coffee with alternative sweeteners or health-boosting incredients like MCT oil, ghee, and certain spices. You will get to taste some coffee at the event.
- BarkHappy Inc. and Canine Solutions are hosting a PJ Party For Pets to benefit KC Pet Project on January 20th at 3:00 p.m. The event will include great giveaways with free dog treats & goodie bags, free tennis balls, free dog spray spritzing, and free photo shoots!
