Every now and then, we like taking a little break from the topic of dentistry. Today, we would like to instead discuss a few fun and interesting community events taking place in Olathe, KS. Community Events
- Daddy Daughter Dance: Families can enjoy a daddy daughter dance at the Olathe Community Center on Friday, February 8th from 7pm until 10pm. The community center is located at 1205 East Kansas City Road. There will be dancing, photos, refreshments, and plenty of fun surprises! Cost is $50 per couple. A great way for parents and kids to bond!
- Mahaffie Dinners: The Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm will be hosting Mahaffie Dinners on February 16th from 4pm until 7pm at 1200 East Kansas City Road. You can enjoy authentic 1860s cuisine in a stagecoach dining room, illuminated by lantern light! Staff will wear period appropriate clothing. There will be a full meal and dessert, followed with music in the parlor. Open to people ages 8 and up, admission is $49 per person and includes meals and entertainment.
- Pancakes with the Presidents: Enjoy a pancake breakfast with George Washington and Abraham Lincoln at the Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm on February 23rd from 8:30am until 10am. There will be crafts and you can have your picture taken with a president. All ages welcome, admission is $8 for persons aged 3 and older.
- Winter on the Farm: Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop and Farm will also be hosting their Winter on the Farm event on February 23rd from 10am until 4pm. Admission is $7 for adults and $5 for kids aged 5 and up.
