On December 21st if you wear an ugly sweater to the park, you can get in at a discounted price of $19.99 for admission.
- Head to nearby Kingsville, Missouri to experience the Festival of Lights at Powell Gardens. The gardens are lit up with a botanical theme of Christmas lights. Walk through seven themed gardens along a mile-long walk. In the evenings, there are special events for children like ornament making. If your child makes an ornament at Powell Gardens, you can take it home to hang on the tree.
