This Week’s Fun!
- Haunted Kansas at Ernie Miller Park is on October 20th in Olathe, Kansas. This event will feature spooky tales told around a camp fire. The event is held outdoors, but in the case of inclement weather, it will move inside.
- Independence, MO is the home of Boo Town! Head to the Puppetry Arts Institute to see goblins, ghosts, and other creatures take the stage in a variety show spook-tacular! Seating is limited, so be sure to reserve a seat before you head out!
- The Kansas City Zoo will be hosting Hoots & Howls during the month of October. Throughout the month, kids can ride a pedal tractor to navigate a hay bale maze, singalong with a live DJ, families can take a hayride around the zoo or watch some of the animals smash some pumpkins!
- While Hoots & Howls ends this weekend at the zoo, the following weekend will feature Boo at the Zoo! Children can trick-or-treat throughout the zoo while enjoying not-so-spooky Halloween decorations at most of the exhibits!
