Kicking off Summer Near Olathe

May 22, 2018

While summer does not officially start until June 21st, Memorial Day weekend usually marks the first time that family’s start to get outside for summer activities. There are plenty of events going on near Olathe to honor service members, celebrate Memorial Day, and open the can on summertime. The team at E-Care Dentistry is proud to serve the smiles of Olathe and the neighboring communities.

Things to Do This Weekend

Entrance to Stingray Bay is included with regular zoo admission, and you may participate in one of a limited number of feeding opportunities for an additional fee.
  2. Shawnee Mission Park Beach (7900 Renner Road Shawnee Mission, KS) opens this weekend on May 26th with a Beach House Bash! Beach admission will be free throughout the day and the event will include refreshments, giveaways, and music all beginning at noon.
  3. Olathe’s Black Bob Bay opens on May 28th. The aquatic center features raft water slides, a lazy river, shallow water areas for kids, family changing rooms, shade areas for party rentals, a dive well with different height diving boards, and pools for children and adults.
